1. Who is responsible for your data

UGUIFY is the controller of the personal data collected through this website.

  • Payment information: payments are handled by our payment providers. We receive confirmation of payment and limited details such as the card type and last four digits, never your full card number.

3. Why we use it, and our legal bases

4. Who we share it with

We share your data only with service providers who help us run our business, and only what they need:

  • Shopify: website hosting and order management.
  • Payment providers: such as Shopify Payments, PayPal, Apple Pay and Google Pay, to take your payment securely.
  • Email service providers: to send order updates and, if you subscribe, marketing emails.
  • Fulfilment and delivery partners: our fulfilment partner in China, who prints shipping labels and dispatches your order, and the carriers who deliver it.
  • Advertising and analytics partners: such as Meta (Facebook and Instagram), Google and TikTok, to measure our website and show you relevant ads, only with your consent where it is required. See our data sharing opt-out page.

We never sell your personal data for money.

5. International transfers

Because orders are dispatched from China, your name, delivery address and phone number are shared with our fulfilment partner there. Some of our service providers also process data outside the UK. When data leaves the UK, we use appropriate safeguards, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Standard Contractual Clauses, and share only what is strictly necessary.

6. How long we keep it

  • Order records: for as long as tax and accounting law requires (in the UK, generally 6 years).
  • Customer service messages: up to 2 years.
  • Marketing data: until you unsubscribe or withdraw your consent.
